Description

The LC6 dining table was designed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, and Charlotte Perriand in 1928, in keeping with the functionalist approach of modern architecture. The model was later produced by Cassina, the official manufacturer of iconic 20th-century design furniture.

The table’s character is defined by the harmonious contrast between the clean-lined oak veneer top and the black-lacquered steel frame. The design of the legs draws inspiration from the structural solutions of contemporary aircraft technology, while the overall construction ensures a light and timeless appearance.

The LC6 is one of the defining pieces of Bauhaus and modernist design, and even nearly a century after its creation, it still has a contemporary feel. It is an elegant choice for a dining room, office, or formal interior.
