Description
An original Maralunga two-seater sofa designed by Vico Magistretti for Cassina in the 1970s. The model is one of the most famous works of Italian design, having become a classic of modern design thanks to its innovative design and exceptional comfort.
The Maralunga’s most well-known feature is its adjustable headrest system, which allows the backrest to be raised to a higher position with a single motion. Its soft, enveloping form and excellent ergonomics combine functionality with an elegant appearance, making this model one of the iconic pieces of contemporary furniture design for more than five decades.
The sofa has been preserved in its original, unrestored condition, which may be particularly valuable to collectors. The wear and minor marks resulting from use are a natural part of its age, yet the structure has retained its original character and authenticity.
Upon request, we also offer comprehensive, professional restoration or reupholstering of your sofa, striving to preserve its original shape and appearance.
